I can't believe how big my kiddos have both gotten. I'm not going to be able to hold either one of them while they are sleeping for too much longer, so I try to do it as much as I can now.
After many months of searching, I finally found a playground for sale on craigslist. It took us 3 trucks and 3 guys to move it to our house, but it was WAY cheaper than buying it brand new. It needs to be sanded and sealed, and maybe a roof built onto it, but other than that it is perfect for the boys. Cooper has been having a lot of fun on it. I swapped out the middle swing for Carter's outdoor baby swing and he loves it. He's gotten to the point where we can take him outside and he will run around and play instead of just sticking the rocks in his mouth. That makes my life a lot easier!
| Even Tucker likes it! He climbs up there on his own and hangs out. |
Carter needed a haircut really bad. We had used the scissors on him before to clean up his uneven, crazy-long sections, but this time he really needed an overall cut.
Meet his barber:
Before his haircut:
During his haircut: He didn't seem to mind the buzzer at all.
Much better!
Cooper's preschool went on a field trip to Petsmart. Cooper had a great time, and Carter did too!
This smiley, snotty-nosed, happy face is the reason that I have to do my homework when the moon and stars are out and also the reason that I don't get anything done around the house. He is so much fun though!
Our local grocery store (Yolks) has a tractor in front of it. Cooper loves to go there and hop on the tractor when we are done shopping.
Spoiled dog!
Sometimes our Cooper needs some one-on-one time with both David and I. So one night after Carter went to sleep we pulled out the finger paints and made had some good bonding time.
"Carter, where are you? Oh! There you are!" Silly boy!
