Kids Say the Darndest Things!

Cooper says the funniest things sometimes! I thought I should write them down so I can laugh about them when I'm old so here are some of the funny ones that come to mind right now.

When we were getting ready to move I was packing up some of our dvds in a box. Cooper asked why I was putting things in boxes and I told him that it is easier to move things if they are in boxes. He thought for a second and then said, "No Mommy, it would be easier if we just put everything in a firetruck."

I told Cooper that he needed to pick up his cars because I didn't want to step on them and hurt my feet. Cooper said, "it wouldn't hurt if you had slippers on, so go put on slippers and my cars can stay here."

A long time ago, when he was only two, he was driving with David and smelled a skunk. He said, "Daddy it's stinky." David said, "ya, that is a skunk." Cooper said, "I think the skunk farted Daddy."

A daily thing that Cooper says during nap time is, "Mommy my eyes just won't stay closed. See... They keep opening!"

We were at the park in the beginning of the summer and Cooper ran up to a girl and said, "bet ya you can't catch me!" And she said, "uh huh because I have sketchers!"

I had just cleaned Cooper's room and went to get the vacuum...

Me: Cooper did you make a mess in your room?

Cooper: No... I just dumped all my cars out and my tools too.

He calls his bottom his "little booty butt butt" and he runs around saying that he's "Sketcherman." I don't have any clue where he got the Sketcherman from.

We were relaxing one day and we decided to go get some ice cream. I told David to go get dressed so we could go and Cooper said, "Ya Daddy, go put your dress on so we can go!"

Cooper: "Daddy you are so strong!"

David: "I'm strong because I eat all my food and I sleep in my own bed all night long."

Cooper: "Well I'm strong because I eat candy and I sleep in your bed all night long."

LOL!

I told Cooper to go tell his Daddy that he wanted to go to My FroYo (a local frozen yogurt place that is super yummy). I thought if Cooper told David then we'd get to go for sure, haha. Doesn't work so well when Cooper runs up to David and says, "Daddy I want to go to Her FroYo."
