That's what our house has been sounding like lately. A whole lot of coughing and running noses. After 9 days of being super sick and losing my voice completely, I finally went to the doctor ~ Bronchitis. Nice eh? They gave me antibiotics and some cough syrup with Codeine to help me sleep. I'm sure David will get more sleep as well with me not coughing through the night. He's been a little sick too, but thankfully he's not had it very bad.
Cooper started coughing on Monday so I took him to the doctor yesterday. He doesn't have Brochitis yet, and we are hoping to dry up his cold before it gets any worse. We were told to give him Benedryl for his cough and boy does that stuff make him tired! He fell alseep on the couch with me before 6 last night, with a fever of 102. The doctor said that they have been seeing a lot of this lately. Thankfully, Cooper's fever went down last night and he hasn't been warm yet this morning, but he and I are staying home today and having a "sweats and a movie" kind of day.
What a tired little boy!
Cooper found an old pair of David's glasses and thought they were the best toy ever. They are missing a lense and completely outdated, so we just let him play with them. What a cutie!
David was working on some lessons plans on the floor in the living room and the screensaver came on his computer. Cooper thought those bubbles were so cool.
Last weekend for Superbowl, we went over to my parent's house. There was way too much awesome food and great company. We had a good time and stuffed ourselves full.
We are hoping to be all healthy again by this weekend. My sister and her family are coming into town and we can't wait to see them. We are going to take all the kids swimming and I know that we'll all have a blast.
Have a Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
