Spring Has Returned!

I have a lot of catching up to do!

Cooper loves these kiddos. These are my parent's neighbors, Parker and Ashton.

The first week in April was Spring Break. We took advantage of our week off of work and school and headed to the west side of the state to visit our friend Cortney and do some touristy stuff in Seattle. Cooper loves Cortney so much! She spoiled him with lots of candy and even let him stay up super late and watch a movie and then sleep in her bed.

We went to Pikes Market Place, rode the Monorail, and went to the Space Needle.

After a long morning doing all that stuff in Seattle, the boys both slept while we drove to Renton and then slept the entire time we were at IKEA. We LOVE IKEA! It is like a giant candy store to us. And we especially loved it with 2 sleeping kids :)

The next night, David and Cortney went to "Cosmic Bingo" and had a lot of fun. David even came back with $100 prize for winning a lip syncing competition. He had to dance to "Like a Virgin" because he was a first time bingo player. The crowd applause voted for the winner and he was the crowd favorite.

Carter is getting so big, so fast. He's already wearing 6 month clothes and he's only 2 months! At his 2 month check-up he was 24" long, and weighed 13 lbs, 14 oz, which places him in the 90th percentile.

There have been some nice days and the boys and I take advantage of them and get outside. We love to go for walks along the river or go for walks with Grammy.

One day we were bored so we got all the pillows in the house and put them all in the living room and Cooper had a blast jumping on them.

Carter and I were both sick. He had to use a nebulizer a couple times a day because he was wheezing.

On Easter morning, after Cooper did his egg hunt, we all went and climbed Badger Mountain with my Mom, her neighbor Megan, and her daughter Ashton. It was a pretty difficult climb, especially with a 14 pound baby in the bjorn. I thought I had it rough, but David had it much worse with a 35 pound 3 year old on his shoulders

What's new with us? 

I just finished my second semester and it is such a relief to be done for a little while. It was a tough semester, especially with having a newborn baby and being a little sleep deprived. The homework load was a lot heavier than the previous semester and it was a struggle to find time to get it all done, but I made it through and I am so excited for this 5 week break before summer semester starts.
