Busy Weekend

Our weekend was so full! We made it to Spokane Friday night and enjoyed playing games with my sister and Matt. Cooper was so excited to see Becca and Elizabeth. He had been asking to see them all day. On Saturday Jen and I wanted to wake up and go for a walk with Mojo (their new puppy) at 7:00. Well it turns out that it's pretty darn cold still at 7:00 in February. So we didn't end up going for a walk. Instead, we went shopping! We ran all over the place trying to find a cute/boyish doggie coat for Mojo so that he wouldn't freeze when Jen takes him for walks on those cold mornings.

Then David and I went over to Andrew and Mica's house to see baby Maya. Of course she did what babies do and slept the whole time we were there. She's such a cutie! Andrew was working, but it was really good to see Mica and Maya.

Then it was nap time (aka - game time). While the kids were taking their much needed naps, we played some games. Jen and I even let the boys win. That was our plan all along :)

In the afternoon, we went to Elizabeth's birthday party at McDonalds. The kids had a great time playing in the tunnels and sliding down the slide. I still can't believe Elizabeth is already 4! She is such a sweetheart. Look at how pretty she is! This is her on the day she was born and her 4th birthday.

We went for a walk after the birthday party and got some great pictures of the Elizabeth, Becca, and Cooper together. Then when I went to review my pictures, my memory card died on me. I was totally devastated! I am the dummy that doesn't upload my videos ever. I have more than a years worth of videos of Cooper on that card that I don't have saved anywhere else. I have a wonderful computer guy that I call whenever I have a problem and he thinks he'll be able to recover everything. I'm still holding my breath. Thankfully my sister is more picture-happy than I am and she had taken some pictures of this weekend on her camera.

We drove home Saturday night and then on Sunday we drove to Yakima to the baby shower for my cousin's baby. It was an awesome baby shower and she got some really great gifts. It was an absolutely gorgeous day so while the gifts were being opened, all the guys went outside and played with a remote control boat on the little lake. The boat got stuck on something so David hopped in a pattle boat and took my 2 cousins and Cooper for a little ride on the lake to go free the remote controlled boat. I'm bummed that we didn't get any pictures of that, but Cooper still wakes up every morning and says, "Mommy boat! Mommy water!" We can't wait to buy a boat and take Cooper out this summer. He's going to love it!

I came home on Sunday and went straight over to my friend Andrea's house to help her film her audition tape for The Bachelor. It was a lot of fun and we did a lot of laughing. I seriously hope she gets picked to be on the show because that would be awesome.

On Monday night, I was deep frying these won ton things for dinner and one fell out of the tongs and when it landed in the pan the hot oil splashed all over my hand. It hurt really bad. I had constant ice on it for over 5 hours and tried 2 different burn creams. OUCH! Now it's mostly purple blisters but this is what it looked like on Wednesday.

Cooper loves to play in boxes. This one wasn't quite big enough for him, but he loved it anyway. He first put all his animals in there and then he climbed in with them.

This was how Cooper wanted to sit while watching a movie.

Cooper likes to line things up in straight lines. He always does it with his food and his toys.

He insisted that I take a picture of Lightening McQueen saying "cheese."
