Past, Present, and Future

So much has happened since we got married, so I decided to do a quick summary. The biggest thing that has happened was the birth of our beautiful baby boy, Cooper, although he's not much of a baby anymore.

He just turned two, and boy is he terrible sometimes! We absolutely love that kid. He's so much fun! He makes us laugh like no one else can and surprises us with new crazy things everyday.

Right after we had Cooper, David decided he didn't like the career path he was on so he went back to school to get his Masters Degree and become a teacher. While continuing to work full time, he's been going to school every Friday night and all day on Saturdays for the last year and a half. He just started student teaching and is so excited to be graduating soon. He's a great Daddy and a wonderful husband.

I loved my job at the City of Prosser, but the commute was wearing on me so I took an accounting position for a school district close to home. My job is super boring, but I get to spend so much more time with Cooper and that makes it worth it. I'll be starting classes in August and should have my Bachelors in Elementary Education in less than 2 years. I'm so excited for David and I both to be teachers! It will be so amazing for us to be on the same schedule as our kids. I'll also be fortunate enough to be a stay at home Mommy for the time I'm in school. I can't wait! I've never been so excited for school in my life.

We were hoping to have added another member to our family by now, but are realizing that things don't always go as planned. We've had 2 miscarriages in the last 6 months which has been a big fat bummer, but we are still trying for another baby. We are so eager to add to our family and hope it happens soon.

David still bowls every week and I have a lot of fun doing a Zumba class on Thursdays. We are so lucky to be surrounded by amazing friends and family and we love to spend a lot of time with them. Everyone that lives far away, we miss you and wish we could see you more often!
